Transforming Patient Care through On-Demand Language Interpretation

Join us on Tuesday, June 20 at 9:00am to learn of the outcomes related to a pilot program that was launched between Voyce and a 150-bed acute care hospital, shifting from a primarily in-person and over-the-phone model for language interpretation to introducing devices which enabled on-demand medical interpretation over both audio and video with an average wait time of 19 seconds; outcomes include a 100% patient satisfaction rate and a 95% staff satisfaction rate.

Attendees will learn of the increasing need for language interpretation services in healthcare settings for increasingly diverse populations, including current trends and demand such as immigration patterns across the country. Attendees will also learn of the implementation process to access on-demand video and audio remote interpreters in various healthcare settings, the cost savings involved in utilizing on-demand language services, and will be informed of the various use cases of language services can be deploy; this includes emergency departments, cardiac floors, diagnostic imaging, and in a medical floors.
