Tariff Price Adjustment Overview from Vizient

Vizient firmly opposes supplier price increases tied to tariffs, emphasizing the importance of honoring fixed pricing agreements. When such requests are made, Vizient enforces a rigorous, transparent evaluation process focused on supplier accountability and protecting member hospitals’ financial health. Suppliers must provide detailed data—including cost breakdowns, margin impacts, inventory levels, and mitigation strategies—before any consideration is given. Price changes, if allowed, are intended to be temporary and closely monitored. Vizient remains steadfast in shielding clients from unnecessary cost burdens. Read more here.
