Everyone Deserves a Voyce
South Carolina Legislature and recognized certification in sign language interpretation
Starting January 1, 2024, individuals can only provide interpreting services for an agency or hospital if they hold a recognized certification as defined in Section 40-84-110(4). The recognized certification, in this context, means a certification in sign language interpretation as approved by the South Carolina Association of the Deaf, the South Carolina Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf, or the National Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf.
Solvent Networks endorses Voyce. All interpreters have recognized certifications. Voyce’s professional American Sign Language Trilingual (Spanish-English-ASL) and Certified Deaf Interpreters (ASL CDIs) ensure you can always communicate confidently.
